CITYWORKS
CityWorks is a participatory design studio that brings the community together to shape public space. The program invited local artists and makers to submit proposals for a temporary public design project along the downtown Providence Riverwalk. Projects explored themes of community resilience, climate change, and place-based history. See the finalist Call for Proposals. The 2018-19 winning proposal is Living Edge, by Adam E. Anderson of Design Under Sky. The project received an award from the Providence Preservation Society and was featured in Providence Monthly.
